• Running a fully fledged private cloud infrastructure with all and every surrounding systems on own hardware.
• Using 100% Open Source software.
• Having every component high-available with respecting standards and best-practises.
• Providing a service (for ourselves) at a level at least as high as our employers would expect from us (for customers or intern).

 

Being decades in the IT business, we (for now, mainly mel and me) were getting bored during the recent pandemic lockdown.

So, we decided to plan and build a playground in our field of profession: Planning, optimizing and running services in the broad range from Network Infrastructur over DNS, Mail, Web up to complex Cloud setups utilizing Network and Storage software-defined.

Driven by a mixture of childish joy and OCD, the project takes shape.
